Christopher Papathanassi
Founder and CEO
Chris is infectiously passionate about bringing game-changing innovation to solve the challenges that have existed in the syndicated loan industry for too long.
Prior to founding Oneiro, Chris spent 15 years working for a Tier 1 bank administering large-scale syndicated loans, and for a top software vendor as a specialist sales consultant.
As well as Oneiro, what gets Chris up in the morning is CrossFit training, his local church, mentoring others, and (more literally) his three wonderful children.
George Druncea
CTO
George is an expert in core banking systems architecture and cloud native technologies. He is focused-driven on leading an all-star team of engineers.
George’s experience spans fintech and big tech: he worked for a leading fintech company as a sales engineer and solution architect, and for a software powerhouse, where he spent many years as a pre and post sales technical consultant for their flagship corporate banking platform.
George loves his family, reading, and is a major jazz and rock fan.
James Mellor
Solution Engineer
James is dedicated to maximising the value that Oneiro’s solution offers both customers and their customers and counterparties.
He has been in the corporate and syndicated lending space since 1998. After 15 years of working for numerous Tier 1 banks he moved to the tech world where he spent more than a decade with a leading software vendor as a lending solution consultant.
When James isn’t helping to deliver next-gen lending technology, he can be found walking with his (not so) trustee dog, Nacho, in East London.
Katie Carter
Executive Assistant
With a keen eye for detail and a big-picture mentality, Katie is devoted to assisting the smooth running of Oneiro’s office.
Before Oneiro, Katie worked half a decade for a publishing house, managing a team of editors and list of titles, and then the next five years running her own editorial business.
At home she has two busy boys and a husband who bakes the best bread.
Alan Jenkins
Frontend Engineer
Alan has an exceptional eye for design and excellent frontend development skill set.
He worked for eight years as UI designer and product manager for a business platform where he modernised the frontend and pioneered the codebase migration. More recently he implemented new features for an ecommerce platform as a senior frontend engineer.
When he’s not developing you can find him with his friends at a comedy club or down the pub.
Jack Leigh
Backend Engineer
Jack is a software engineer with ten years’ experience in various sectors of the industry.
At Oneiro he specialises in the performance and correctness of the DLX platform.
When not programming he can be found out in the mountains, or on the ballroom dance floor.
George Poole
Site Reliability Engineer
With a Masters in Mathematics from the University of Bath, experience as an Assistant Analyst and AWS Cloud Consultant, and as a SRE for a Tier 1 bank, George brings a vital skillset to the team.
At Oneiro, George works on ever improving and maintaining the infrastructure and security of the organisation.
George live in Leeds where he enjoys volleyball, climbing, electronic music, cooking, and spending time with friends.
